
Loan Administrator

- Process a variety of syndicated and bilateral loan activities: drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, pre-payments, rate fixings, fees/commission postings, external payments, and interest collections.
- Perform reconciliations (including Nostro), data monitoring, and resolution of ad hoc inquiries or operational issues.
- Administer all facilities and related products in which the institution participates as an Agent, Participant, or Direct Lender.
- Maintain accurate records in loan administration systems and ensure proper data governance.
- Escalate operational or control issues as needed to management.
- Comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Participate in systems enhancements, testing (UAT), and operational change initiatives.
- Support cross-functional projects and contribute to process streamlining.
- Stay current with compliance, financial crime prevention, and internal control requirements.
- Complete all mandatory training and actively pursue opportunities for professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial banking operations, loan servicing, or middle/back-office functions
- Experience with loan management systems (e.g., ACBS) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with general banking operations, funding flows, and cash management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; investigative mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal); French is an asset
- Comfortable working across time zones with international teams
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
