We are seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to join our Contact Centre team in Canada. Reporting to the Contact Centre Manager, this role leads and mentors the sales consultant team, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining personal sales performance. This role plays a key part in coaching, quality assurance, and operational support to maximize sales effectiveness, team development, and guest satisfaction across the department.Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Coaching
- Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and mentorship to the sales consultant team.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Conduct coaching and regular check-ins to develop sales and service skills.
- Promote a solution-oriented culture with a focus on high performance and accountability.
- Assist the Contact Centre Manager with reporting on team sales performance and KPIs.
- Monitor lead flow, call handling, and ensure timely follow-ups and CRM accuracy.
- Support adherence to policies, procedures, and system processes.
- Act as a liaison between consultants and leadership to address escalated issues or urgent guest needs.
- Build and manage a personal client portfolio, maintaining high conversion rates and service excellence.
- Convert active and qualified leads from a variety of sources.
- Identify and upsell additional products and services to new and existing clients.
- Represent the brand with professionalism at consumer events and shows across Canada, as required.
- Contribute ideas for process enhancements and customer experience improvements.
- Assist in maintaining a culture of continuous learning and performance development.
Essential
- Proven success in a high-performing sales or travel consultant role.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities (formal or informal).
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong CRM and system proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Alignment with Scenic Group’s values of integrity, fairness, and innovation.
- Willingness to support after-hours events and occasional travel.
- Previous experience in a team lead or senior support role.
- Certification or training in leadership or coaching.
- Experience with performance metrics and reporting tools.
- Must be available to work shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST / 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST.
- This position is open to applicants who are located and legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Candidates outside Vancouver’s Lower Mainland will work remotely.
- Candidates within proximity of Vancouver will work in a hybrid from our Downtown office.
