- Collect and understand business requirements from a diverse set of end users
- Analyze data structures, integrate, rationalize, transform, and optimize them for use in sales strategy analysis and business intelligence reporting
- Develop automated scripts using SQL and other platforms to transform raw source data into informational datasets for use by analysts and reporting tools
- Identify data accuracy and consistency opportunities and work with Technology and Sales partners to improve data capture and execute improvements
- Develop easily usable dashboards and reports for end-users in tools beyond spreadsheets
- Provide training on business intelligence tools to diverse sets of users
- Monitor business intelligence solutions to ensure they are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collect and integrate feedback from a diverse user base to continuously improve reporting
- Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college, with degree preferably in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- A track record of commitment to prior employers
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data science
- 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries and building business intelligence solutions like Tableau or PowerBI
- Expertise in at least one BI tool (MS PowerBI preferred)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and SQL
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques
- Experience in query optimization, performance tuning, and process automation.
- Able to prioritize effectively and balance multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to communicate with business as well as technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
