Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Senior SAP eWM Consultant contractor to join their team from September 1st and will run for 1 year with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate should have 10 + years of experience in Extended Warehouse Management in S/4HANA environments to optimize warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and streamline supply chain execution. This is a mainly remote position with about 20–30% of travel expected.Key responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and optimize SAP EWM solutions in S/4HANA to streamline end-to-end warehouse operations.
  • Implement and maintain core EWM functionalities including inbound/outbound processing, cross-docking, slotting, and labor management.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Transportation Management (TM), Production Planning (PP), and Quality Management (QM) modules.
  • Develop and enforce inventory control processes to maintain 99%+ accuracy through cycle counting and RFID technologies.
  • Configure RF frameworks and mobile solutions to enhance warehouse productivity.
  • Lead warehouse process redesign initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Provide go-live and post-implementation support, including user training and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex EWM issues in S/4HANA environments.
  • Stay current with S/4HANA innovations in warehouse management (e.g., embedded analytics, Fiori apps, IoT integration).
