I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver for my elderly father, who requires comprehensive personal care and support throughout the week. This full-time or part-time position will encompass work from Monday through Friday, during mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Ideally, I choose to hire immediately to ensure my father's comfort and wellbeing. Regardless of whether you choose to live-in or live-out, the caregiver's responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, assisting my father with ambulation, bathing, dressing, toileting, and range of motion exercises. In addition to personal care and support, the caregiver will be required to help maintain a clean and functional living environment. This part of the job involves housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, as well as keeping the bathroom clean. Regular vacuuming, dishwashing by hand, and providing bed baths are also part of the daily tasks. In terms of patient positioning, the caregiver will need to ensure my father is in safe and comfortable postures, especially when in bed. Note that a driving license isn't required for this position as our family can provide a car for job-related usage if necessary. The right candidate should be prepared to work for approximately 30 to 40 hours per week.
