With properties located across Manitoba & Winnipeg, we believe everyone should have a clean, attractive, and safe place to call home.Inventory and Procurement SpecialistThe Inventory and Procurement Specialist manages the flow of materials and goods for our organization, ensuring adequate supply while optimizing costs. They track inventory, identify needs, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee the procurement process from order to delivery. Their responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and manage inventory cycles. This includes management for satellite inventory locations.
  • Procurement: Identify needs, research suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and place orders. Understands procurement and supplier sourcing and approval policies and procedures; interacts with suppliers, staff, and management to obtain appropriate documentation and approvals.
  • Supplier Relations: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, manage supplier performance, and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze purchase costs, negotiate favorable terms, and identify opportunities to reduce expenses.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and industry standards. Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
  • Supplier Research: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, considering factors like price, quality, and delivery time.
  • Purchase Order Preparation/Management: Prepare purchase orders and ensure they are processed on time and within budget.
  • Order Tracking: Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery.
  • Invoice Tracking: Follow up on missing invoices for PO’s where goods are received.
  • Returns and Exchanges: Manage returns, exchanges, and repairs of goods.
  • Inventory Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
