- Responsible for balancing the cash registers;
- Preparing bank deposits and entering information for daily cash report;
- Training associates on SKU / pricing related issues, printing signs and labels and operating the RF unit;
- Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of perpetual inventory and product pricing.;
- Prepare and participate in cycle counts;
- Following the best practices when receiving and processing merchandise;
- Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed;
- Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed.
- Effective analytical and organizational skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Previous experience in a retail environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (customers, vendors, other third party);
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment;
A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly.Store Operations Associate, Physical Demands of Position:
