- Lead GEMBA walks and identify process improvements to enhance operational excellence.
- Motivate and manage operators to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Keep accurate records of production data, training logs, and machine maintenance.
- Communicate progress and challenges effectively with upper management.
- Deliver training on machine operation, safety, and production processes.
- Assess and coach team members to improve their skills.
- Operate and oversee production machines, ensuring smooth operation and performance.
- Perform periodic adjustments and calibration of equipment.
- Learn and contribute to Quality Assurance responsibilities.
- Adhere to the Zero Harm Protocol and report safety concerns.
- Participate in CBSQ and 5S initiatives.
- Complete other assigned duties and projects as directed by the Production Supervisor.
- Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Trainer, QC Backup, and completed at least six months as a Machine Tender.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
- Ability to work in a variety of roles.
