Hospitality Aide - Meadow Ridge Seniors Village

• Sets tables, serves food and beverages in accordance with the established policies and procedures and all applicable regulations
• Maintains work and storage areas in a clean, safe and sanitary manner
• Washes, cleans and stores dishes, cutlery, fixtures and equipment used for food preparation and service
• Operates food service equipment, such as hot carts and dishwashers
• Prepares food items and assembles ready foods for service
• Other duties may include light food preparation, portioning and plating
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire/emergency procedures and policies of the facility; participates in fire and emergency drills
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Grade 10 education
• Current Food Safe Level 1 Certification
• Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing

• Current and clear Criminal Records Check including the Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 6 months prior to hire date
• Immunization Records, including Tuberculosis screening

• Previous experience in a senior's home setting and/or previous food service establishment
