Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.Maintenance Technician (Full Time) - Sarnia, ONPurpose:This position requires the ability to work independently and with a team to perform a wide variety of skilled mechanical duties to install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and facilities.Technical Responsibilities:
  • Disassembly/assembly of rotating equipment, pumps, gearboxes, compressors to repair/replace bearings, gears, seals, structural components, etc.
  • Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, blowers, valves, etc.
  • Install, repair, and maintain mechanical high pressure piping systems including threaded and welded pipe systems
  • Perform preventive/reactive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systems
  • Utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System, plan and execute maintenance activities including procurement of parts, performing scheduled maintenance tasks and completion of all follow up required documentation.
  • Complete and document maintenance activities in associated repair ledgers
QualificationsQualifications:
  • 3+ years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment
  • Ability to read and understand drawings
  • Available on call
  • Welding, PLC, instrumentation, HD Mechanical, cryogenic pump experience, an asset
