Job Type: Full-timeHours: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday-Friday (based upon business needs) 5:45 am to 4:15 pmLead Hand Pay: $32.21 plus Lead-hand premiumOpen Positions: 1Job Summary:Responsible for leading the maintenance team to ensure that maintenance activities across Thomson facilities are completed in a timely manner, in accordance with the Company’s policies, procedures and values.
Lead a team of maintenance associates.
Coordinating with contractors for repairs on machines, tools and the facilities including heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems.
Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
Maintain and manage inventory of tools, equipment and supplies.
Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities on machines, tools and equipment
Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Proactively promote the RBS and Values.
Promote and practice Lean manufacturing processes as per RBS standards.
Ensure all EHS procedures, goals, and site initiatives are followed consistently.
Collaborate with extended team on investigations related to Safety, Quality, and other issues.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance.
Minimum Diploma in Building/ Facilities maintenance or related field.
Demonstrated ability leading a team and driving accountability.
Must have a forklift license and demonstrated proficiency driving a forklift.
Must be available to work overtime as required.
Proficiency using Microsoft word and Excel.
Ability to work overtime when required.
