Marketing Assistant - Summer Student

• Assist with management of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) for multiple brand accounts.
• Create, schedule, and post engaging content, tracking results and reporting metrics.
• Update website content regularly to reflect current events, promotions, and organizational news.

• Conduct market research to support campaigns and initiatives.
• Support events, including the Westerner Days Fair & Exhibition, with marketing-related activities.
• Ensure consistent execution of brand standards across all channels and collateral.

• Communicate directly with clients to build trusting relationships.
• Liaise with other business units to identify and support internal marketing needs.
• Assist the Marketing team in coordinating projects and maintaining workflow.

• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth department operations.
• Assist with organization, scheduling, and tracking of marketing projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Engaging social media posts and updated website content.
• Market research summaries and insights to support campaigns.
• Brand-consistent marketing materials across all platforms.
• Efficient support of events and internal marketing projects.

• Currently attending a business-related post-secondary program, preferably with a Marketing focus.
• Previous marketing experience or familiarity with social media management (an asset).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Positive, professional, and courteous attitude.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Eligibility for the Canada Summer Jobs Program.

• Competitive compensation of $18.00/hr.
