- Develop and execute the Project Controls Plan as part of the overall Project Execution Plan.
- Set up and maintain project baselines within Fluor's project controls system, ensuring consistent tracking and reporting.
- Establish and manage cost, schedule, and commercial baselines to support project delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of Project Controls professionals, providing technical direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Analyze cost and schedule variances, identify root causes, and present mitigation strategies to Project Management.
- Oversee the implementation of Work Breakdown Structures and Project Coding Systems to ensure accurate scope control and reporting.
- Support additional project controls activities as required.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and report status to management.
- Ensure compliance with scheduling-related contract conditions.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree, along with 15 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the mining industry is a must.
- Proficiency in conveying information clearly to various groups, including but not limited to executives, colleagues, clients, suppliers, contractors, and guests.
- Essential technical expertise required to perform the role effectively.
- Capability to understand and implement knowledge of relevant local, regional, and national laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within time constraints.
