He develops and optimizes manufacturing processes in order to improve operational performance or add value to the organisation. The scope of projects can reach several million dollars. The expertise provided must take into account health and safety, quality, technical aspects, operational challenges, human resources and financial impact;Performs technical and financial monitoring of the projects entrusted. He prepares technical specifications, plans and cost estimates. He manages tenders and issuance of contracts, together with the strategic purchasing department. He coordinates the installation and commissioning of equipment, and manages the project budget;Coordinates the work of multidisciplinary teams associated with the realization of major projects. The team can be made of internal and external resources;Acts as a technical advisor to other members of the engineering team or plants;Is responsible for capital projects at the Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil plant in Quebec, but may be called upon to support other locations depending on workloads and business needs.What you need to join our team:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale projectsMember of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)Experience in automation will be considered an assetExperience in implementing multidisciplinary investment projects in environments involving multiple stakeholdersGood knowledge of MS Office Suite and AutoCADExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (English is required to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces)We dairy you!
