- Project Leadership & Execution:
- Lead IDD implementation across nuclear projects, including SMR and refurbishment programs
- Develop and maintain project-specific IDD implementation plans, integrating BIM, GIS, and digital construction workflows
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure digital tools and data environments are effectively utilized
- Information Modelling and Digital Construction
- Ability to model from point cloud data
- Ability to Model in Autodesk products (Revit, Plant 3D and Civil 3D)
- Ability to use Fuztor for construction means and methods planning
- Understanding of hexagon smartplant products
- Digital Strategy & Governance:
- Enforce compliance with Aecon Nuclear IMS, IDD Playbook, IMS, and sector-specific standards
- Support the development of digital twin models, 4D/5D simulations, and model-based quantity tracking
- Oversee the use of technical common data environment (ACC)
- Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage and mentor IDD Coordinators, Specialists, and Modelers across BIM and GIS functions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align digital delivery expectations during RFP and execution phases
- Facilitate digital design reviews and ensure quality control of models and datasets
- Extraction of model based quantities to support estimation
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including automation, AI integration, and dashboard development
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to the evolution of IDD best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geomatics, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital delivery roles on major infrastructure or nuclear projects.
- Proven leadership in BIM, GIS, CDE, and document control environments.
- Strong understanding of nuclear regulatory requirements and digital compliance.
- Proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks, ACC, Aconex, and Power BI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
