
CPA Student Program Learning Specialist (20-month contract)

- Partners with National CPA Team members on the planning, deployment, and communications to implement and deliver EY's CPA educational program
- Execute end-to-end project management with minimal supervision for assigned CPA educational programs, including national PEP exam and CFE exam results, CFE celebrations, and related events
- Manages the National CPA Student Program coordinators and Virtual Talent Hub (VTH) team to facilitate the execution of CPA program requirements, ensuring compliance with local CPA body regulations and academic institutions across service lines and nationally
- Provide support for the National CPA Team budget, including creation of annual budget, conducting detailed monthly analysis of budget to actual results, reviewing invoices for accuracy of coding before sending for approvals and payments, summarizing monthly accruals, and following up with Finance as needed
- Creates presentations and documents to support internal CFE sessions for students, local office CFE contacts and producers
- Support both virtual and onsite sessions, including facilitation and managing producers
- Oversees the compilation and summarizing of attendance, including Continuing Education (CE) credits and reports results to HR, leadership and other stakeholders
- Summarize and review feedback from CPA student education programs, with focus on continuous improvement
- Identify student population and oversee CPA Student Education roster management for CPA education programs, as well as Assurance Leadership, Recruiting and Executive Management initiatives
- Develop and manages communications aligned to CPA student education programs and policies, as well as communications required for other internal stakeholders, including Assurance and Talent leadership
- Organize and participate in debriefs with facilitators and stakeholders specific to EY's CFE education program, with focus on continuous improvement
- Compile and summarize reports on education metrics required by National CPA Team, Assurance and Talent leadership which support strategic and operational issues such as annual CFE leave
- Strong organizational, project and time management skills; able to coordinate multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously and meet demanding timeframes; strong attention to detail
- Strong vendor management skills, working closely with providers of technical learning
- Proven ability to collaborate with geographically dispersed team members, students, indirect team members, client serving personnel at higher staff levels and support staff
- Demonstrated ability and confidence working with technology and learning new software
- Strong sense of teaming and working with others
- Strong coaching, consulting and facilitation skills
- Ability to collaborate with Talent Directors, PPEDDs and Regional CPA Bodies to resolve complex educational issues involving staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work effectively with multiple groups across all service lines
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Strong understanding of the business, strategies and priorities, and how they translate into the needs of the CPA education program to manage stakeholder expectations and to build consensus
- Proficient in advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint (use of pivot tables and v-lookup; Power BI/Query would be an asset)
