Description :At SMS Equipment, the Product Support Sales Representative will be responsible for the promotion and sale of products, parts and services offered by SMS Equipment. He/she will strive to increase the visibility and the market share of SMS as a supplier of parts and service with existing and future customers. This position is located in Fredericton or Moncton.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
  • Present customers with our prices, terms and conditions, warrantees, delivery dates and credit and financing programs.
  • Produce and submit to supervisor daily and/or weekly activity reports.
  • Follow up with customers and provide after-sale service.
  • Continuously improve his/her knowledge of all products offered by SMS Equipment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of new products and market developments in this/her territory.
Qualifications :The successful candidate must have a Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience.Other requirements include :
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment industry, construction and forestry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of ground engaging tools (GET) and related wear parts.
  • Must be mechanically Inclined and have a willingness to learn
  • Work experience on portable computer and advanced skills in web/data base use and research.
  • Must own a vehicle and hold a valid driver’s licence.
  • Bilinguism english and french is an asset.
