About Our ClientOur client in Montreal is looking to hire a dynamic IT Manager to lead the growth of their company’s infrastructure, systems and security. We are looking for a forward thinking progressive IT Leader, who is comfortable planning an implementing a variety of projects, on their own, with vendors, and managing an MSP.Responsibilities
  • Align IT initiatives with business goals and growth plans, including ownership of IT CapEx and OpEx budgets.
  • Define multi-year plans for infrastructure improvements, tool adoption, and integrations.
  • Lead the implementation of all IT initiatives, with support from holding and/or unit stakeholders.
  • Ensure interoperability between unit-specific tools and company-wide platforms.
  • Oversee the standardization of communication, project management, and file storage processes.
  • Define governance rules for tool usage, permissions, and workflows.
  • Maintain oversight of Loi 25, GDPR, ISO, and other relevant standards.
  • Ensure policies, risk management plans, and disaster recovery frameworks are in place.
  • Coordinate with the MSP and external auditors for the execution of security and compliance tasks.
  • Own the MSP contract(s), relationship, and service quality (SLA).
  • Negotiate service scopes, renewals, and cost optimizations with vendors.
  • Coordinate with the MSP on operational priorities and special projects.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to creative, sales, and operations teams.
  • Lead pilots for AI tools, automation systems, and creative technology.
  • Oversee the adoption, training, and change management for new tools.
QualificationsFormal Education in Computer Science
Experience managing all aspects of a companies infrastructure, systems, and operations
