Job DescriptionReporting to the maintenance supervisor, the general worker plays an important role in supporting both the production and maintenance departments. He/She will help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of CNC machines and other equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations.Responsibilities
  • Conduct regularly scheduled plant tour to refill coolant and oil and collect metal chips;
  • Ensure collected materials are disposed of safely without interrupting operations;
  • Organize and manage consumable supplies in their designated areas;
  • Report any equipment or supply issues to the maintenance supervisor;
  • Conduct basic corrective and preventative maintenance tasks as required, including cleaning and lubrication and urgent minor repairs on CNC machines;
Job qualifications
  • 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Good sense of organization;
  • Able to work independently and follow safety procedures;
  • CNC machine knowledge is an asset;
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset;
  • Available to work in dayshift (7:30am-3:30pm).
