- Personal Capability Building: Develop and maintain excellent procedural or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
- Testing: Perform a variety of standard tests requiring a moderate level of judgment.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Perform basic data entry tasks, including data verification.
- Solutions Analysis: Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for parts of routine inquiries.
- Project Management: Carry out defined project tasks.
- Equipment Installation: Carry out simple installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
- Insights and Reporting: Perform basic data reporting tasks to support others by using established procedures.
- Work Scheduling and Allocation: Organize own work schedule each day in line with changing priorities.
- Plant and Machinery Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and repair plant and machinery under close supervision to ensure that operational requirements are met, including conformance with regulatory and organizational health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Product and Solution Development: Support others by carrying out simple product development or engineering tasks, such as gathering data or preparing documents. Involves following established procedures.
- Completion of Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma, or completion of Civil Engineering degree.
- General Experience: 0-2 years of experience in related field.
- Past experience in construction field work is considered an asset;
- Valid Ontario Class “G” driver's licence;
- Team player, cooperative with other staff with open sharing of information and knowledge.
