Are you someone who is known for reliability and flexibility?Executive Aviation is looking for a Ground Operations Trainer to lead the training program for our Sault Ste Marie (YAM) Below the Wing team. Specifically, we are looking for someone to train employees on air carrier and Executive Aviation procedures at our YAM base. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a strong knowledge of best practices and the ability to facilitate in class, on-line, on the job classes, and to help support the operation if and when needed.   • Leading and developing the local training program
  • Maintaining documentation and records including air carrier trainer matrixes
  • Scheduling and facilitating course material to meet initial and recurrent requirements
  • Represent EA in carrier train the trainer programs
  • Providing hands on job shadowing instruction
  • Providing instruction and coaching employees on best practices
  • Be able to work safely as a team and oversee safety: Incident response, audits: SMS Training
  • Ramp Organization– set up, manpower assignment, shift briefings, auxiliary equipment inventory management – standard defined
  • Supporting airline operations through the safe movement of baggage and ground equipment
  • Attendance management– day of shift coverage (schedule, contact list, parameters), coaching and documentation of attendance – email
  • Providing equipment demonstration and instruction
  • Promoting safe work practices
Qualifications:
  • Training experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example by creating a positive learning and working environment
  • Successful completion of all Training and Read and Signs
  • At least 1 year of Ramp and Deice experience
  • Must have RAIC, AVOP and a driver’s license
  • Ability to travel, with reimbursement
  • Ability to work all shifts (nights, weekends etc.)
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and patient characteristics
