Logistics environment experience would be an asset
Must have excellent computer skills (Office365) and strong English communication (verbal & written) skills
Must be punctual, reliable, self-directed, and a quick-learner
Able to stand for long periods of time
Must be organized, detail-orientated, adaptable, and have a strong sense of urgency
Able to work independently or collaboratively, be proactive, have a problem-solving approach, and be able to multi-task
Excellent communication, time management, leadership, and analytical/investigative skills; strong technical acumenResponsibilities:Supervise the activities of all employees (in all operations areas) to achieve established targets
The team lead(s) will provide support to the Operations Supervisor(s) and Manager
Plan, schedule, prioritize and organize all work to meet deadlines and customer requirements
Create shipping labels and shipping documents via various platforms
Promote a Safe working environment ensuring H&S policies are adhered to
Ensure effective cross-training of staff to cover absences and vacations
Train, Monitor, Manage, and Motivate employees to continuously improve
Lift/move mail bins/bags to and from skids (Heavy lifting up to 20kgs maybe required)
Build and wrap skids for shipping
Load and offload truck using pump truck/forklift
