
Legal Intern, Law & Corporate Secretarial

- Conducting research and drafting legal memoranda on legal issues arising in a variety of areas including corporate law, securities and finance law, warranties, liabilities, indemnities, supply chain management, and litigation and employment matters;
- Reviewing of securities regulatory requirements and corporate law;
- Assisting with corporate governance items;
- Reviewing of corporate policies;
- Assisting in the preparation of materials for the board of directors and its committees;
- Drafting legal memoranda relating to corporate, securities and finance law issues;
- Assisting in drafting documents and preparing due diligence materials in connection with financings;
- Assist counsel in litigation and contract interpretation matters, including conducting legal research, document review, and drafting memoranda of fact and law;
- Conducting document review; and
- Carrying out other tasks as required.
- Actively enrolled in a Canadian JD or LLB degree program, and must have completed second year of law school prior to May 2026
- Enrollment at an accredited University, and returning to school for at least one semester following your work term
- Must have completed at least one legal research course
- Business background is considered an asset
- Ability to learn quickly, understand, analyze and implement new concepts
- Strong research skills and attention to detail, and self-motivated
- Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
