- Assist the Controller with critical financial planning and execution projects
- Manage full cycle accounting & month-end processes, accruals, reconciliations, tax compliance, audit preparation, and consolidated financial reporting packages.
- Actively contribute to financial reporting aligned with ASPE guidelines and support operations & FP& A initiatives as assigned.
- Assisting in streamlining processes and optimizing day to day tasks for efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive change management initiatives to enhance workflow across the team and organization and assisting with implementation of new systems.
- Promote a positive, collaborative team culture while effectively managing competing priorities and projects.
- Hold a CPA designation and minimum 2+ years of experience in a Senior Accounting role or manager position, ideally within industries such as distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or similar.
- Are highly motivated and proactive, with a "what else can be done better" attitude and the ability to take on tasks with a can-do approach.
- Are committed to professional development while managing personal and career goals, seeking opportunities for long-term advancement (3+ years for a growth trajectory).
- Possess strong technical skills in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and tax/audit compliance, as well as experience with process improvement and change management.
- Preferably have previous management or leadership experience and seek a stable, rewarding position in partnership with senior leadership.
