- Five or more years’ experience in senior financial management roles.
- Forest industry and/or manufacturing accounting experience would be an asset.
- University degree in business or a related field of study.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, external financial reporting standards, and management reporting in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Proven experience mentoring and developing diverse teams.
- Participate in the development and implementation of corporate, sector, and business unit strategic plans.
- Provide leadership and guidance to woodlands accounting personnel and support employee development through coaching and performance management.
- Coordinate and verify woodlands capital and operating budgets, forecasts, and year-end activities.
- Prepare and deliver relevant, timely, and accurate financial and analytical reporting to senior leadership.
- Support regional woodlands business units in working within approved budgets and forecasts.
- Participate in capital expenditure planning, justification, and approval processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities and ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
- Contribute as a member of the woodlands management team by providing cost-effective, meaningful information to support decision making.
- Foster a collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement and innovation aligned with Tolko’s strategic plan.

- You’ll earn a competitive salary based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $156,000/year.
