Brief Description:Our employer is a manufacturer of smart armoured vehicles looking for an individual to be responsible for performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on the various vehicles as assigned.Job Function:
- Installing new vehicle wiring systems and creating wiring harness
- Installing and troubleshooting audio/visual equipment, lighting, and alarm systems.
- Diagnosing electrical issues and reporting them to the supervisor
- Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs as assigned
- Work in a safe and efficient manner to meet production targets
- Use appropriate tools (hand, electrical and pneumatic) in a safe and correct manner to complete assigned tasks
- Daily cleaning of the working spot
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
Job Requirement:
- Responsible attitude towards safety protocols.
- Proven relevant experience (not necessarily in Canada) preferably 1-3 years.
- Equivalent education in a filed is an asset (local or foreign).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with wiring, soldering, crimping, and assembling electrical components.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
