Work with high-level general routines and detailed work procedures but required to apply considerable judgment and discretion when determining appropriate course of action. Responsible for the fulfillment, servicing and management of authorized credit process including ensuring loan documentation is completely and accurately maintained in accordance with credit facilities.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis.How You’ll Succeed
  • Credit knowledge & Analysis - Knowledge and experience in Credit Analysis and Credit Risk. Expertise of loan/security documentation, compliance, audit and control requirements. Familiarity of internal CIBC systems and applications (e.g. COINS/COLT, LAS, Content Manager, ICAP/e-diary)
  • Collaboration - Maintain open lines of communication with assigned Credit Specialist. Regular contact with internal CIBC employees, teams and departments (e.g. Risk Management, Credit Specialists) at peer and management level to provide and receive information and escalate issues as required. Regular contact with external Solicitors and Canadian Securities Registration System (CSRS) to obtain and clarify information related to loans.
  • Compliance - Compliance with all CIBC regulatory training and ensure these programs and policies are applied consistently across the business. The incumbent is personally responsible for compliance with all such regulatory and governance programs.
