The position involves working on a Mainframe Migration Project, where legacy code is automatically converted to C# using the PROGRESSION Tool Suite. The developer is responsible for cleaning and compiling the converted C# code, executing unit tests, and troubleshooting defects identified during testing.
Target Technologies:
- Primary Tech Stack: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, PowerShell
- Front-End: React.js
- Development Tools: Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git
- Legacy Background (Desirable): COBOL, JCL, PL/I, RPG
- Operating Systems: Windows (preferred), Linux
- Additional Tech (Desirable): Node.js, GRPC, Spring Boot, Microsoft Web API 2
