- Identify and convert new business to meet revenue, market share, and occupancy goals.
- Build strong client relationships through outreach, site visits, events, and entertainment.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Manage key accounts to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and oversee contracts, proposals, and client communications.
- Execute targeted campaigns to optimize rate, occupancy, and revenue.
- Track booking trends and adjust strategies as needed.
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Managers and Coordinators.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Promote cross-department collaboration to ensure service consistency.
- Conduct regular meetings, reviews, and team updates.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and sales reports.
- Follow up on all leads using company trace systems.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety, crisis, and emergency protocols.
- Act as Manager on Duty when needed.
- Forecast and manage department budget and costs.
- Ensure proper staffing and training levels.
- Oversee compliance with safety, appearance, and policy standards.
- Safeguard property, assets, and guest safety.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Proven success in hospitality, travel, or related sales leadership roles.
- Strong team management and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth understanding of hotel operations and revenue strategy.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
