- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production
- Complete repairs and overhauls on equipment and piping systems in an underground mine and perform basic welding as required
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repair
- grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
- valid Saskatchewan or inter-provincial journeyperson industrial mechanic certification;
- three to five years of industrial experience;
- ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- ability to wear PAPR when required;
- team player with good communication skills;
- excellent safety record; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
- familiarity with computerized maintenance tracking using SAP; and
- previous experience working in an underground mine.
