Join us and design your place with Stantec.Your OpportunityWe are currently seeking an Intermediate Piping Designer (Industrial) in our [Winnipeg/Saskatoon/Regina] Office. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and skilled problem solver with a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service and individual excellence are paramount. Joining our Industrial Buildings group will provide exposure to a wide variety of projects – from advanced manufacturing to food and beverage to renewable energy – and everything in between.Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design experience, from conceptual through detailed engineering, related to process piping associated with industrial buildings projects.
  • Undertake and or assisting in project coordination responsibilities, including scheduling, estimating, and project progressing.
  • Review and coordination of vendors and other discipline documents.
  • Participate in site visits when required.
  • Ensure that work conforms to applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
Education and ExperienceDiploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology required.Minimum 5 years of experience working with consulting engineering firms preferred.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
