ZOOM ON SIXENSE:Sixense is the worldwide leader in the design, installation, maintenance and operation of large automated monitoring systems during the construction of iconic infrastructure across the globe. Optical monitoring instruments constitute a key component of those systems.YOUR MISSIONS WITH US:As an Estimator at Sixense, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team by meticulously reviewing tenders and initiating cost study exercises.You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, ensuring competitiveness in bids, and ultimately contributing to the success and growth of the company.Your main missions will be :· Reviewing tender documents and understanding project requirements thoroughly.· Collaborating closely with the sales team to develop competitive bidding strategies.· Conducting comprehensive cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.· Utilizing estimating software and tools to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates.· Identifying potential risks and opportunities associated with each project.· Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on cost estimates and bid strategies.· Participating in bid review meetings and providing insights to enhance bidding effectiveness.Continuously updating knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to maintain competitiveness.ProfilARE YOU INTERESTED?HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as an estimator or as an Instrumentation and Monitoring specialist in the field.
  • Basic understanding of Instrumentation and Monitoring core scope of work
  • Proficiency in using software and tools (e.g., MS Word, Excel and Outlook relative to estimating site construction and engineering activities, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge in job costing systems
  • Strong aptitude for research and working with numbers
  • Able to travel per the company travel policy
