In addition to our rail intermodal terminal services, including lift-on/lift-off of containers and hostler services, we also operate several container and chassis repair depots associated with rail yard terminal services, with a full range of mechanical, welding, and associated repair services. MacCosham Inc. is looking for a full-time, permanent Tire Bay Technician to join our growing team in Calgary, AB.Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining MacCosham and client equipment in a safe and cost-efficient mannerAssisting with CVI/government inspections and repairs under the supervision of a licensed technicianPerforming timely and safe repairs on trailers, containers, chassis, and other equipmentPerforming routine maintenance and servicing, including all fleet maintenance processesPerforming tire change, replacement, and maintenanceDriving company service trucks to perform minor repairs on chassis within our yardAssisting with after-hours service calls as neededMaintaining a clean and organized work areaPerforming other related duties as required or assigned.Qualifications:Must possess a valid Class 5 Drivers LicenseComfortable working outdoors occasionallyForklift experience is considered an assetBasic understand of mechanics is considered an assetBasic wiring/welding experience is considered an assetTrailer maintenance and repair experience/training/education is considered an assetAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsMust have basic computer skills and be comfortable working with iPadsCapable of working under minimal supervisionMust demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practicesHighly motivated team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
