Join Our Team as Front Office Manager – Right in the Heart of Whistler Village!The Crystal Lodge is on the lookout for a dynamic, full-time Front Office Manager to join our year-round team. Nestled in the vibrant core of Whistler village, we offer more than just a job—we offer a lifestyle that balances mountain adventure with professional growth.In this role, you'll take the reins of our Front Desk operations, ensuring our guests enjoy exceptional service and warm hospitality from the moment they walk through the door. You’ll lead, inspire, and support a team of up to 15 enthusiastic front-line professionals—all while working closely with our Director of Operations to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead with impact: Recruit, train, and mentor our talented Front Desk team to help them thrive in their roles.
  • Keep everyone in the loop: Host engaging team meetings to share important updates, training sessions, and insights that enhance the guest experience.
  • Watch the numbers: Track labor and expenses to stay on budget, and contribute ideas and feedback during the annual planning process.
  • Guide and support: Address performance or disciplinary matters with professionalism and care.
  • Boost the bottom line: Work with the Sales & Marketing team to support initiatives that drive occupancy, rates, and revenue.
  • Solve like a pro: Tackle guest concerns or billing issues with speed, empathy, and precision—always collaborating with internal departments to find the best solutions.
  • Jump in when needed: From ski valet in winter to helping guests with bikes in the summer, you're there to support the team and enhance the guest experience.
Note: While this outlines the key duties, flexibility is key—other responsibilities may come your way to support the team and hotel.What You Bring to the Lodge:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a busy hotel Front Desk setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a Front Desk role.
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems—experience with RDP is a big plus.
  • Natural leadership skills, with strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • A valid BC driver’s license.
  • Comfortable lifting or moving luggage, ski gear, or carts up to 50 lbs—our mountain life is active!
