The dishwasher must be able to organize her/himself to accomplish the task at hand with the appropriate hygiene standards and good attention to detail. This person is responsible to uphold the cleanliness of the workstation and for removing garbage (heavy lifting).The dishwasher must act as a team player to achieve the goal of maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.Main Responsibilities:

Ensure all cutlery, glassware, dishes and pots are clean, sanitized and organized in the appropriate storage areas;
Ensure to apply efficient and safety processes in the dishwashing area;
Ensure the dishwashing area is cleaned on a regular basis;
Cleaning the floors of the dishwashing area;
Ensure recycling items are placed in the appropriate areas;
Responsible of collecting portable dirty dishes cart across head office buildings;
Participate actively in a multi-functional work environment;
May need to perform other duties as assigned such as service, catering delivery, special event, replacement, meals prep, cash register during peak period, etc;
Responsible of the garbage removal in her/his area;
Observe and follow the established Emergency Fire & Health & Safety procedures and to work in a prudent and safe manner.

Qualifications:

Clean habits and attentive to detail;
High health and safety standards (certificate is an asset);
Highly organized and able to multitask;
Ability to work in a fast- paced environment;
Able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs repetitively;
Work days and possibly a night shift once in a while;
Team player and a self-starter, able to work independently and effectively as required;
Bilingual (French and English, written and spoken);
Willing to learn and take on new challenges.
