Base Salary: $41,000 - $57,000 CAD base pay annuallySnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life: Production Coordination & Support
- Provide administrative support to Production, FSQA, Maintenance, and Leadership teams
- Assist in the development and execution of daily and weekly production schedules
- Support shift handovers with accurate and timely production reporting
- Monitor production performance and escalate issues related to downtime, labor, or inefficiencies
- Accurately enter and validate production data in SAP (yields, downtime, labor hours, waste)
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
- Ensure alignment and accuracy across SAP modules (Production, Inventory, Maintenance)
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Monitor usage of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and/or orders in SAP
- Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability
- Track deliveries and proactively address shortages or delays
- Support inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate records to support production planning and minimize disruptions
- Maintain production records in compliance with HACCP, CFIA, and GMP standards
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready
- Support internal and external audits by organizing and retrieving required records
- Act as a liaison between Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Supply Chain
- Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and track action items
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data tracking and reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and material flow
- Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
- Experience working in a unionized environment is strongly preferred
- Experience with SAP, particularly in production, inventory, or purchasing modules
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting, pivot tables, analysis)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues effectively
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature variations, noise, and food production areas
- Required to follow all PPE and food safety protocols
- Flexibility to support off-shift hours as needed to meet production demands
