Our client, a rapidly growing industrial company, is seeking a Director of Maintenance to lead their maintenance department across five facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial manufacturing, with a focus on machinery, equipment reliability, and team leadership. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-visibility role at a company with significant growth potential.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the maintenance department across all facilities, ensuring all equipment and machinery are in optimal working condition to meet production demands.Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime, enhance equipment performance, and extend asset life.Manage a team of maintenance technicians and staff, ensuring they receive proper training and adhere to safety standards.Oversee and optimize the maintenance budget and resource allocation, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining equipment reliability and uptime.Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies, creating a safe and effective working environment.Lead the adoption and integration of new technologies and systems to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance equipment longevity.Monitor and evaluate maintenance performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and align with overall organizational goals.Foster a proactive maintenance culture, promoting collaboration and accountability within the maintenance team.The Successful Candidate Has:Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment (e.g., steel, heavy machinery, or similar industries).Strong technical background in machinery, equipment maintenance, and facility management.In-depth knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor, train, and motivate a team of maintenance professionals.Experience managing maintenance budgets, resources, and performance metrics.A strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the industrial sector.A results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary range: $130,000 – $150,000, based on experienceComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity for career growth within a rapidly expanding organizationCandidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
