
Marketing Manager (Richmond Hill)

- Collaborate with the US Director of Marketing & Brand and the Canadian team leadership to develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy
- Translate internal and external marketing needs into actionable projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to standard.
- Set clear timelines for marketing projects and coordinate efforts with relevant team members, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and communicated effectively.
- Oversee all marketing functions including brand management, email marketing, social media, design, content marketing (editorial, publications), corporate advertising, tradeshows, and sponsorships.
- Manage the company's Canadian Marketing Calendar, ensuring projects are discussed in advance and deadlines are met.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve marketing strategies and tactics to drive business growth.
- Implement new marketing technologies and techniques that enhance customer experience and sales.
- Use project management software to track and ensure marketing campaigns hit deadlines.
- Partner with the Canada Sales and Support teams to develop supporting sales presentations, packaging, point-of-sale materials, and collateral.
- Serve as the liaison between Marketing and other internal departments, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and aligned with overall company goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure marketing efforts are relevant and effective.
- Manage third-party vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality work and timely execution of projects.
- Take ownership of all projects in the marketing queue, continuously looking for ways to streamline processes and improve workflows.
- Conduct regular check-ins with the Canada leadership team to ensure department objectives are being met.
- Manage third-party contractors as needed to fulfill specific marketing initiatives.
- Monitor operational changes that impact department processes and recommend necessary changes.
- Foster strong working relationships across departments to resolve issues efficiently.
- Personify, support, and lead by the company's core values in all aspects of the role and department interactions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with experience in the hospitality, foodservice, apparel, uniform, or fashion industries preferred. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing strategies tailored for the Canadian market across all provinces.
- Expertise in project management, including managing both individual and team projects.
- Experience developing and executing digital advertising strategies.
- Strong background in communications strategy and execution.
- Knowledge of graphic design, layout, and production with proficiency in Adobe Design Suite (high intermediate level).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to tailor messaging to each platform.
- Strong ability to interpret data analytics and develop KPIs to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
- Bilingual French/English preferred.
- Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and achieve measurable results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work creatively under pressure.
- Proficiency in Mac systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. (less than 5% of the time).
- Ability to perform desk work, including extended periods of computer use.
- Attendance at photo shoots and other outside events, which may require long periods of standing.
- Extensive use of telephone communication.
- Travel up to 25% of the time, including domestic Canadian and international travel to U.S.
