
Senior Licensing Engineer

- Communicate to designers and analysts regulatory staff expectations and feedback.
- Produce licensing deliverables, as required.
- Provide support to all PSAR preparation.
- Develop procedures, writing guidelines in support of the PSAR.
- Provide licensing review of assigned sections/chapters.
- Develop licensing documentations in support to PSAR as required.
- Preparing, proposing, updating and coordinating licensing strategies (e.g., by reports and communications).
- Preparing and providing Licensing information sessions/seminars and guidance.
- Develop and provide support in responses to customer’s requests for additional information and comments.
- Coordinate interaction with Client on Licensing matters.
- Interface and coordinate with designers and analysts on specific focus topics in support of addressing regulatory feedback.
- Coordination and licensing review of documents and responses to comments.
- Preparation, review, and verification, as required, of formal correspondence to external customers.

- 7 years of licensing experience in a nuclear project environment.
- Thorough knowledge of the Codes and Standards used in NPP licensing in Canada, the USA, and the EU.
- Thorough understanding of the Canadian nuclear licensing regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Additional, preferred qualifications:
- Engineering degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
- Experience working in a nuclear facility licensed in Canada, highly preferable.
