This position is responsible for providing support to the sales department by serving as the liaison to all parties involved in the customer order fulfillment process - from order placement to final delivery of product. Process customer orders, confirming product availability and accurately entering orders into the system
Effectively coordinate with all parties involved in the release and delivery of product, providing timely updates on the status of orders
Prepare and process import and/or export documentation for cross border and international shipments
Invoice sales orders and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain the internal database to ensure that all customer, supplier, product and pricing information is updated and accurate
Effectively communicate with customers to address any questions related to their orders
Work collaboratively with Accounting departments to resolve issues regarding credit holds, short payments, receivables and payables inquiries
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting
Hands-on experience preparing import/export documentation for cross-border and international shipments is required
Experience working food or beverage distribution/consumer packaged goods industry is an asset
Candidates must display strong attention to detail and the proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required for this position
This is an in-office position working as part of a collaborative team
