Planning and performing the dispatch of trucks using Computer Dispatch
Setting dispatch priorities to optimize performance
Verifying and reconciling data entry
Responding to customer inquiries
Liaising closely with colleagues and customers of evolving changes to the dispatch plan
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education/experience in Transportation Management or Logistics
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous customer service experience
Strong attention to detail
Problem solving in a changing environment
Intermediate Microsoft Excel knowledge
Professional communication in both written and spoken English
HOURS AND AVAILABILITYRegular Schedule:
Tuesday to Friday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
