Will be measured off the district's health and safety record. Works closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP of Site Services in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner;Directs personnel in the operational procedures to complete assignments and understand manpower and equipment requirements to complete field service projects and emergency responses;Acts as office liaison for the field service personnel in the field and has independent authority to determine who may or may not work on a given shift.Ensures rolling stock equipment is properly maintained and permitted for operations.Maintains proper inventory of equipment and supplies for current workload;Maintains proper working order and maintenance for assigned company equipment and or vehicles;Responsible for the proper completion of worksheets, vehicle inspections and equipment inspectionsQualifications:5+ years of Management experienceExperience with managing and forecasting budgets.Must be able to travel within Canada and the USA.Ability to manage change, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and understand issues and resolve/address strategically.Excellent communication skills.Understanding of Corporate Safety & Compliance Policies.High School diploma or equivalent required.Wondering what to expect in starting your career with Clean Harbors? to view a Day in the Life Video!40-years of sustainability in action.
