
Junior Shop Hand

- Competitive pay: $23/hour
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Daytime hours - 7:00am to 4:30pm shifts
- Weekly direct deposit paid through Randstad
- 4% vacation pay on each deposit
- Opportunity to gain experience in a professional shop setting and learn new skills, such as operating an overhead craneResponsibilities
- Operate a pressure washer to clean downhole motor components and other shop equipment
- Assist with moving and handling heavy components
- Learn to use an overhead crane to move heavy equipment (training provided!)
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and yard
- Support the team with various general labour tasks as requiredQualifications
- 6+ months of previous experience in a heavy general labour, manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Reliable transportation is required to get to and from the worksite
- Physically capable of prolonged standing, walking and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in variable weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, attendance and reliabilitySummary
