The AtkinsRéalis group of companies provides engineering, procurement, construction support and administration, project management and project financing services to a wide variety of market sectors.Location - Mount Pearl, NLYour role within the team:As a member of the Newfoundland office's civil/municipal infrastructure team, you will :Comply with corporate policies and safety protocols;Identification of general safety, and HSE requirements;Interpreting engineering specifications, resolving design and field engineering difficulties and coordinating work schedules;Ensuring design work interfaces will with that of other disciplines;Coordination and interaction with drafting in the preparation of design drawings;Coordination and preparation of project specifications;Contributing to the planning and scheduling of work to achieve prescribed objectives;Preparing progress reports and monitoring project controls;Recommending changes in plans and specifying estimated costs;Recommending substitutions in materials and payment for complete work;Consulting with other departments, suppliers and contractors to clarify specifications;Keeping informed of new technical developments and estimating their impacts;Project specific roles to be determined by Project Manager.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?Because we offer:The opportunity to work on various major projects for internal and external clients.An exciting environment where work-life balance is important.A wide array of learning and development opportunities.Competitive pay, flexible benefits, an employee share plan, and a defined contribution pension plan.A work environment focused on health and safety.The ideal candidate:Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.0 to 2 years of relevant experience.Eligible or registered as an Engineer-in-Training.Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and MS Office is an asset.Willingness and aptitude for learning in a fast-paced work environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong written and verbal skills, knowledge of French is an asset.Are you up for this challenge?
