We are looking for students who are enthusiastic about the Arts Internship Program and want to share their internship experience with other students as well as gain valuable logistical skills and institutional work experience.Eligibility and Experience:Students must be familiar with AIO services - priority given to students who have completed an internship through AIO in the pastStudents must have a valid Canadian Social Insurance NumberStudents must look into eligibility for Work Study and have successfully applied to work study program using * Please note that you can apply to the AIO job before you receive the work study confirmation.Typical Functions:Act as a resource person for students and internsGeneral administrative assistancePreparation of publicity materials (printed and social media)Event planning assistanceRepresenting the Arts Internship Office to the McGill community (students, staff, Faculty) and outside organizations through meetings & written communicationRequired Qualifications:Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications: Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.Strong attention to detail (data entry, text editing, email etiquette, etc.)Solid work ethic (punctual, good communication, works well in a team)Fast learner and adaptableStrong willingness to promote the Arts Internship ProgramDesired Qualifications:Prior experience working with studentsProven writing and editing experienceSocial media and communications experienceWritten and spoken FrenchWork Schedule:Monday to Friday; between 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.Approximately 10-15 hours/week.In-person, Leacock room 307 (no remote work)Schedule may vary based on the semester.Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma 2 Years Related ExperienceHourly Salary:Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 15 (Part time)Position Start Date: 2025-09-15Position End Date: 2026-09-11Deadline to Apply: 2025-09-10This position is covered by the AMUSE collective agreement.McGill University hires on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity within its community.
