
Commercial Account Executive, Technology & Cyber

- Proactively sourcing new business, managing clients and ultimately growing a solid client base in Technology and Cyber segment.
- Develop and build relationships with new and existing clients as well as internal and external referral sources and centers-of-influence.
- Maintain an active sales funnel.
- Responsible for overall client satisfaction by identifying problems, summarize and develop strategic solutions.
- Coordinate service delivery within the organization to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
- Ensure high level of client satisfaction and exceptional service delivery through education on products, processes, and services and communication.
- Manage communications for major account level changes with team or clients.
- Collaborate with Brokering team on insurance policy placement for new business and for renewals.
- Manage complex issues (conflicting data, client objections, industry trends, carrier issues, etc.) and work to offer solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate with teams to confirm service delivery requirements and manage client expectations.
- Monitor internal performance to ensure clients’ needs are met in accordance with firm guidelines.
- Prepare sales presentations or proposals to explain product specifications or applications.
- Partner with other teams to ensure client needs are met and that actions are compliant.
- Minimum of 3 year proven Commercial lines sales experience in the technology and Cyber segment
- You have a track record of building and growing a profitable insurance portfolio
- Business minded with a passion for technical excellence
- CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards designation) would be an asset
- Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario Licenses is required or willing to obtain
- You are a results driven individual with a strong desire to win business and build relationships
- You love networking in community and industry association events
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, written and oral
- High level of self-motivation, with the ability to perform effectively, with minimal supervision
