- Assemble, install, align, dismantle, and relocate oilfield and mechanical equipment using precision tools, layout plans, and industry-standard rigging and lifting techniques
- Perform precision measurements, bearing fits, gear and shaft alignments, power-transmission setups, pipe-strain corrections, and equipment testing with necessary adjustments
- Maintain, service, and repair pumps, seals, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, compressors, and basic PLC-controlled equipment
- Operate machining tools, power tools, and hand tools to fabricate, modify, or repair components while following drawings, measurements, and safety standards
- Conduct routine maintenance, lubrication, cleaning, and general shop housekeeping to support safe and efficient operations
- High school diploma/GED plus completion or progress toward fourth-period vocational training
- 4+ years of shop or manufacturing experience, with strong skills in reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Proficient with machining equipment, hand/power tools, Oxy-Fuel and Arc-Welding equipment, and knowledgeable in weld symbols and basic metallurgy
- Strong safety mindset with solid understanding of OHS regulations, WHMIS, PPE requirements, and the ability to work independently or under supervisor direction
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and experience in service-oriented environments
