The Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) program is a strategic initiative focused on transforming how client manages risk. As a holistic solution, it modernizes governance, risk, and compliance by integrating frameworks, processes, and regulatory requirements into a single, consistent platform. The eGRC enhances transparency, automates key activities, and supports data-driven decision making across all business functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards. The eGRC Data Governance team is responsible for designing and implementing the core taxonomies, standards, and data governance structures that underpin the eGRC Program.Purpose:
The Senior Manager, eGRC Data Governance drives the planning and execution of the foundational elements and data model for the eGRC Program. Contributes to the overall success of the eGRC Data Governance team in Global Risk Management in Canada/globally, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. Reporting to the Director, this role ensures the program and platform meet regulatory requirements and support the Bank’s risk management goals.Candidate Value Proposition:

The role focuses on contributing to the development and integration of risk practices, supporting consistent oversight, transparency, and informed decision making as the program evolves.Typical Day in Role:
- Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of eGRC foundational elements (taxonomy, data model, PRC Inventory, RCSAs, NIRAs, KRIs, Scenario Analysis) to ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and risk-appetite expectations.
- Lead data governance execution by maintaining data definitions, ensuring data integrity, and embedding standardized practices across eGRC workflows, while driving process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort, enhance data quality, and strengthen control evidence within the eGRC ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Governance, Tech Enablement & Delivery, Operational Risk, Compliance, Technology) to ensure consistency, traceability, and alignment of foundational data structures with business needs.
- Provide effective challenge and oversight of eGRC assessments, reporting, and program execution to identify gaps, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Support enterprise reporting and analytics, ensuring foundational data elements drive accurate, transparent, and timely insights for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Participate in technical working groups and BAU change governance, assessing impacts, ensuring alignment to standards, and supporting decision-making on data and foundational element changes.
- Support ad hoc program needs by delivering high-quality analyses, materials, and change related deliverables in response to evolving priorities and stakeholder requirements
- Provide strategic oversight and collaborate closely with all eGRC teams to ensure the program’s quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement, with smooth processes, reliable data, strong user experiences, and the guardrails needed for a resilient, fully operational eGRC program.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with client’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

- 8+ Experience with data governance and delivering operational risk programs involving multiple stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams (must have experience in a consulting firm, finance or banking industry)
- Exceptional analytical and planning capabilities, with the ability to interpret data, synthesize insights, and focus on critical issues.
- Previous experience with alignment of functions to enterprise frameworks and, external regulations
- 2+ years of experience with enterprise change management in large transformation initiatives
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate, PowerBI.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in eGRC program delivery, platform oversight, stakeholder engagement, and transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments, data governance, and technical platforms supporting GRC functions
- Familiarity with delivery and governance platforms, such as Jira, Clarity, OpenPages, and ServiceNow
- General dimensions involve working in a continually evolving discipline where expectations are constantly changing and expanding.
- Must have a strong ability to balance competing or conflicting goals of various departments/ stakeholders, requiring a mature, and diplomatic approach with strong influencing skills.
- Strong relationship-management and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across business lines, technology teams, and control functions.
- Excellent communication skills, including executive-level written and verbal communication
The ideal candidate would have strong risk management and governance experience. Any experience with eGRC program delivery and exposure to regulatory environment would stand out.Candidate Review & Selection
