
Client Care Specialist, Life Insurance

- Have direct experience working with clients and insurance carriers
- Be fully independent and able to manage tasks with limited supervision
- Understand the end-to-end life insurance process, including underwriting, compliance, policy issue, and ongoing servicing
- Be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneSpan
- Manage the complete life insurance application and underwriting process
- Prepare quotes, illustrations, insurance applications, and settling documents for contracts
- Coordinate all underwriting requirements including medicals, financials, and third-party documentation
- Act as a key liaison between clients, their advisory teams, and insurance carrier
- Provide proactive support on in-force policy servicing, including changes and annual reviews
- Maintain accurate client data in CRM systems
- Collaborate with MNP partners and the broader client service team to ensure a seamless and high-touch client experience
- 5–8 years of experience in life insurance
- Strong understanding of the full life insurance process(from application through post-issue servicing)
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and take ownership of tasks
- Familiarity with life insurance products such as whole life, universal life, and term
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with APEXA, Life Guide, OneSpan, and Carrier systems is an asset
- LLQP license is preferred but not required
