We are accepting applications for an Inventory and Shipping Technician Student to join our team in our distribution center at Etobicoke, ON during the year.What we offer:Competitive CompensationEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramProfessional DevelopmentWhat the Inventory and Shipping Technician role is about:The Inventory and Shipping Technician will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, monitors stock movements, and coordinates shipping logistics to ensure compliance with operational proceduresCoordinate trailer moves (inbound/outbound, service needs) with shunters.Manage inbound receiving priorities in WMS to minimize customer impact.Investigate and report shorts; escalate to supervisors when required.Communicate instructions, escalations, and special requirements to Shipping Receivers and management.Assign RF equipment and manage WMS label creation, printing, and supply.Confirm orders, prepare BOLs and transportation documents.Relay operational delays to transportation and customer service teams.Perform other assigned duties and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Create KPI and promotes data driven process approachAssist in root cause analysis and resolution of inventory discrepancies.Support the implementation of new warehouse technologies and process improvements.What you need to be a Inventory and Shipping Technician Student:Current enrollment in post-secondary schoolProficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsGreat customer service skills and communicationAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesDemonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in workAgropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
